Spotlight: GMU Scalia Law School to Host This Year’s WIPO-U.S. Summer School on Intellectual Property

June 6-17 in Arlington, VA

The Summer School program provides an opportunity for students, young professionals, and government officials from all over the world to acquire deeper knowledge of U.S. IP, including an understanding of how IP operates as a tool for economic, social, cultural, and technological development. The program faculty is comprised of leading IP Scholars, jurists, and practitioners from around the globe, including IIPSJ’s very own Lateef Mtima and Steven Jamar.

Rao was noted as an inspiration to children around the world. Inventing a device to detect lead in water, developing an anti-bullying mobile app are only some of the achievements for TIME’s inaugural “Kid of the Year” in 2020. Read more

Adidas to Offer NIL Deals to All Partner Schools

The decision will expand its NIL network by about 50,000 participants at all 109 Adidas-affiliated D1 colleges in sports programs around the country. Power Five conference partners and HBCUs will be given first priority in the deal starting this fall followed by remaining schools in April 2023. Read more
