Support Nomination of First Black Judge for CAFC

President Biden nominated Tiffany Cunningham to serve on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  If confirmed she would become the first Black judge to sit on the Court.  IIPSJ supports this nomination.

Legislation introduced to combat discriminatory algorithms online

This week Senator Edward J. Markey and Congresswoman Doris Matsui introduced the Algorithmic Justice and Online Platform Transparency Act of 2021.  The act is intended to prevent algorithms used on websites from discrimination based on race, gender and other protected classes.
